Here are some helpful hints for you....

Prepare your home by moving all furniture, pictures and drapes. We can't move your furniture because our insurance does not cover it.

With floor sanding it will be noisy. Have your pets in a safe place because of the noise.

For floor installation the hardwood will have to acclimate to the house for two weeks depending on the season.

After the floor has dried, put felt pads on the bottom of all furniture.

Place rugs in all entry ways to avoid walking on your floor with cleats and high heels, because it can damage the floor.

Regular maintenance requires little more than sweeping with a soft bristle broom or vacuuming. Do not wet mop them. Use a cleaning product that is recommended for your hardwood floors to keep them looking beautiful for years to come.

Seasonal humidity changes may cause the wood to expand and contract. Cracks are normal and will appear and disappear between floor boards during seasons of high and low humidity.
